Japan. For Finishing Knives, Woodworking tools, Razors. Enable to create a good blade. Wakasa is said that easy to sharpen, a natural whetstone which spoiled sharpener. Good slurry comes out ( recommend to use diamond plate such as Atoma or Mikawa Nagura for making slurry ), then you can feel good sliding when sharpening your cutlery,
despite the fine grit size. On the sharpening face, some Kawa ( stone skin ) appears. Please lap well before sharpening, so that those Kawa to be removed.　Apart from the sharpening face, sealed lightly.
Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.””
