    Description

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued April 17th, 1958 to commemorate the first Major World's Fair to be held after WWII, the Brussels Universal and International Exposition, held in Brussels, Belgium.
The most memorable display of the fair was the Atomium, a giant structure built to resemble the cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. The structure features nine connected metal spheres and remains open to the public today.
The stamps feature a view of the US Pavilion.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office over 60 years ago!  Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone interested in World's Fair Memorabilia or the History of Brussels!
