    Description

Up for sale is an rv that enthusiasts know needs no introduction. Rarely seen and even more rare for sale, I have a 1990 Provan Tiger hardtop built from a Chevy Astro AWD platform. These are the Tiger models that are most sought after...fiberglass shell, rooftop A/C (there is no generator however) fully enclosed bathroom and the all important all-wheel-drive.
Tigers are very compact making them extremely maneuverable and easy to park; even if it ends up being downtown in the city! The 4.3 V6 produces respectable torque and decent power while
providing reasonable fuel economy (12 to 16 mpg depending on how much of a hurry you are in to get to your campsite!)
.  The vehicle is in excellent shape for 107,000 miles (no rust other than very minor surface rust). It has cruise control, freezing cold cab A/C, upgraded CD player, crank windows (yup...really!) and more. The interior is in pristine condition and all appliances work (refrigerator uses AC, DC or propane). Front passenger seat is able to rotate and face the cabin.  The Tiger comes with the original owner's manual.
Vehicle spent most of its life in Denver with the original owners who were meticulous about maintenance and it shows.  There is a folder of records and manuals that will go with the vehicle.  Here is a list of some of the more recent and/or notable work performed:
new transmission with upgraded oil cooler - 11/08
transmission flush, antifreeze flush - 7/16
new BF Goodrich All Terrain TA tires - 8/16
    replaced distributor - 7/17
    new windshield - 7/18
    new Astro battery - 1/19
new deep cycle battery - 7/19
    a/c serviced - 8/19
    furnace serviced - 12/19
new fuel pump 6/21 (old one actually still worked...the five cent section of rubber hosing had frayed)
    Capacities are as follows:
    fuel - 27 gallons
    propane - 7 gallons
    fresh water - 20 gallons
    gray water - 15 gallons
    black water - 6 gallons
The upholstery and carpet were replaced in 9/08 and have held up very well.  Additionally, the Tiger's paint had become faded, so the original owners had it repainted a neutral tan in 6/13.  It was one of those MAACO jobs, but it is clean, durable and very presentable
(a little overspray here and there)
.  The second owners owned a wallpaper and window blinds company and re-did the bathroom and ceiling wall coverings last year.
There are three issues that I want to be made aware.  The fuel gauge is not working properly.  I go around this issue by watching my trip meter...once I'm approaching 250 miles (just to be safe), it is time to think about re-fueling (plus, that's about four hours of driving which is a good time to take a break anyway).  The second is the cab's vents sometimes blow air and then suddenly stop and then suddenly blow again.  This is probably a vacuum leak somewhere, but I am not a professional mechanic.  The third is that the cruise control sometimes acts more like a throttle-lock than cruise.  If you hit an incline, it doesn't always kick down a gear to align back with your speed.  You have to hit the accelerator in those times and it locks back in.  Still works well for the most part and relieves a lot driver's fatigue (at least mine anyway!).  This is a fantastic Tiger for anyone looking to go off the beaten path and have some real conveniences at your disposal.
I am buying a new home so the mobile one has to go!  Please feel free to message with any questions you may have. Vehicle will be sold as is, no warranties implied.  All funds must clear before vehicle and title will be released. The Tiger is located in Neenah, WI. I will happily assist in any delivery/travel arrangements you may need to the best of my abilities.
