    Description

    This lovely old salt dip stands 1 7/16" tall and measures 2" in diameter. Made of clear glass, this piece is listed as #2967 in the collector's guide, "5,000 Open Salts," by William Heacock and Patricia Johnson. It is described as the Frosted Eagle pattern by Crystal Glass Co., circa 1880, and the accompanying price guide describes it as, "rare." This antique piece is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or flakes.
